My name is Heesu Yang. I am a Solar Physicist dedicated to finding the dynamic mysteries of the Sun. My research primarily focuses on the detailed mechanisms of magnetic reconnection and the energy transport and release mechanisms in the solar atmosphere. I also specialize in the design and development of solar instrumentation. I have participated in several space missions, including the solar coronagraph: BITSE and CODEX. Recently I have developed a compact solar imaging spectroscopic telescope: CHALLAN, as well as a multi-slit imaging spectropolarimeter designed for total solar eclipse observations.
But this is only part of my life. I am a devoted Christian and a lover of the essays and novels. I also enjoy recording my life as short essays. Sometimes I am playing guitar and diving into music. I am a fan of several artists: 가을방학, 브로콜리너마저, 이승윤, 아이유, 로이킴, 잔나비, 제이레빗, 장필순, 커피소년, 악동뮤지션.
Most importantly, I am the proud father of twins, which is my greatest adventure yet.
